Update: 8/25/11 It's now been a year and I can't remember how many times my Rockwell has been of use now over the past year. It seems I'm always pulling it out for something. I wore out the included "Precision End Cut" wood and "Universal" metal cutting blades on hidden nails while repairing the trim on my garage door, and have replaced them with OEM and added some bi-metal ones that should last longer (Imperial Blade 3RW300 1-1/4 inch Bi Metal Saw Blade) - but I kept the old blades as they still have some use left in them. My latest project for the Rockwell has been two furniture grade 4'x8' cabinets I've built using cedar and oak for my utility room. The three cornered rasp blade and the fine sandpaper have been invaluable for quick stock removal in making tight fitting joints and overall sanding before stain and epoxy sealer. My Rockwell has made building these cabinets a breeze - and I'll be using it to build more nice cabinets for my garage very soon. Oh, and I easily cleaned the old sanding pad residue off the sandpaper backing and the new pad held the same sandpaper, I had been using on the old sanding pad, just like new. The only thing I would have changed about the VersaCut storage bag would have been to have a hardcase like this Sonicrafter comes with. This Sonicrafter hard case is well worth the extra dollars for the protection it offers over the ballistic nylon cases.
